Tycoonism- “Only when we are no longer afraid do we begin to live. Have you begun to live or are you living in fear?”

February 25, 2009

Is F-E-A-R holding you back from achieving wealth and success? How many times have I heard people asking me, “Mr. Tycoon, I am afraid to start on my own. How do I know I will not fail?” Let me tell you this as it is: You won’t know until you DO it. Ofcourse , unless you know that that you are destined to fail because you have seen others failing because of it, then you have not learned or listened to anything I had said.

Like I had said in my previous post and in my book, “Success is Not a Secret its a System” that success does not j-u-s-t happen to anyone. Success is not just a matter of being in the right place at the right time. Success is not happenstance.

Fear is an illusion, which is precisely why we say it’s an acronym for

False Evidence Appearing Real!

A recent study conducted by the University of Pennsylvania found that 40% of our worries never materialize. This study further revealed that 30% of our worries deal with our past and nothing can be done about them. Another 12% were found to be directed toward other people’s business, and nothing can be done about them either. And another 10% were spent on imagined illnesses! Only 8% of worries were found to be justified – they belong to you and can be corrected by you, too! Let me give you another example of how fear works as a negative force in your life’s success system. It’s almost impossible to believe, but there are some people who are actually afraid to ask for what they really want. And even more afraid to get what they want. There really are people out there who would rather stay in economic crisis because it is all they have ever known. They are so accustomed to living from paycheck to paycheck that the thought of doing something different terrifies them; even if that something different will transform their lives for the better!

When you know what you are doing, you are definitely confident. It is the fear of the unknown that usually drag most people from doing new things and new systems. If you cower with fear each time you are uncertain, then n-o-t-h-i-n-g will happen. Unless you create a system that will allow you to be certain of the unknown, then it is only then, you can get the reassurance and the confidence that you need in order to do what it is that you have to DO. Success and failure is a two-sided coin. How it lands once you have thrown it up depends solely on how you look at it. What you must shift is your focus from the negative to the positive side of the coin. The fact is if you don’t shift your perspective, you have failed from the beginning. You have failed before you have even started…you have talked yourself out of it. My modest mission is to inspire you to figure out what you really want from your life; to motivate you to transform your entire way of thinking; to empower you with a proven vehicle to get you where you want to go; and to elevate you to your next level of success.

Refocus your energy and mind and put your plans into motion. As a rational being, you can actually choose how to feel and act every moment of every day. The moment you accept this responsibility completely, then you can begin to gain control over your life. Never allow your mind to dwell and ruminate on unproductive fears and worries.

There are three kinds of people in the world: those who make things happen; those who watch things happen; and those who wonder what happened! Which position do you want to be in? The choice is yours!
