Tycoonism “We are born to succeed, not to fail.”

March 30, 2009

Have you ever stopped and just thought about how powerful a human being is? We are born with so many faculties that we can use to succeed in anything we choose to do. The trick is to be able to recognize our strengths and limitations. Knowing oneself is the key to succeed. We are not born to fail at all. No one is born a loser. Being a loser is just a label we stick on ourselves, or let others stick on us. What we need to do is to disassociate ourselves from labels. Just because you may have failed on your job, or have fallen short in your career, or made a bad decision that had a bad outcome (Undesired Result), does not make you a loser. It just gives you experiences that you can use to better prepare for and ensure your success!!

Know yourself and gain Certainty from that Knowledge. Identify your strengths and hone them. If you feel you have no skills, then seek out people who can teach you some of their skills. Find a mentor. Read a book. Educate yourself. You have no money to go back to school? Then go on line or to the nearest library and learn about whatever you want to do. Go to your local college to see if they offer free classes and lectures. Or, go to your local church and find out about self-development and self-enrichment classes they may be offering. What I am saying is that there are many other avenues you can pursue to get off (and stay off) the road to LOSERVILLE.

Sorry to say this, but Success doesn’t just happen. Success is not something you can buy in the mall. Success won’t just fall into your lap. You have got to be Proactive! You have to want and then set about getting Success! There will always be people who are willing to teach you. If you want to learn how to invest in real estate but don’t have the know-how, find a local investor and approach him or her and ask if you could hang around them to observe. If you want to open your own store, go to your local grocery store and ask to become an apprentice. This will help you determine if this is the actual path you wanted to pursue.
Once you know what you want, create DEFINITE plans on how you will get there. Now, for the rest of the steps, stick around Mr. Tycoon and read my daily blogs… I promise you, it will help!!
