Tycoonism “If you want to make good use of your time, you’ve got to know what’s most important and then give it all you’ve got.”

April 30, 2009

If you have been reading my blogs for awhile now, you must have taken and understood that I have been very adamant with YOU Management as opposed to Time Management. Why is this? Time is constant; it doesn’t change nor and impossible to stop or halt. Time is simply IS. However, it is unavoidable that we live in a time constraint world. Almost everything in this world is time bound. There are things that needed to be done on certain times. You take your children to school on time, or else they will be late. You need to be on time to go to office– or you will lose your job. You need to feed your children in time or they will go hungry. You need to do this, do that, and you needed to be time bounded. However, if you look at these activities, as time is constant, there is only one thing ou needed to do in order to be able to be on top of things and that is YOU.
Are you sick of staying unmotivated and not getting things done? Think about it, have you ever considered how much time you wasted in a day, and how you could actually accomplish so much more in a day if you could stop your time-wasting habits?

You must ask your self, “What is it that I am trying to do?” Once you get that Clear than you must use what I simply call Priority Management. See when you prioritize your activities than you can place them within this System called time. That is the only way you can even attempt to get things done in a timely manner. Getting things done in a timely manner is the statement I would like to discuss. Which is more important the time or the outcome of Getting it Done? Done is the hold objective for everything we do. Time is just a System we use to measure our progress or to set boundaries for when we are to take action and for how long.
We all know that time is limited, but how many of us actually make every minute count? Knowing is not enough, we know that time is scarce, but when it comes to completing tasks, we occasionally procrastinate (for some people, they ALWAYS procrastinate!) What do you want to get out of life? Here is how you can start achieving your goals now! When you set your sight to achieve your New Year resolution, you are setting your personal goal. But how many times have you kept procrastinating and not completing the necessary tasks to achieve your goals? You know what you need to do, but you just can’t seem to get it done. Imagine the fulfillment in your life by knowing the techniques of getting the most important things done in your day.

When you have finally decided what needed to be done, then prioritize things and you can get things done, one at a time. Once you are focus on the task at hand, then you can pour whatever you got to do things right. Nevermind doing things done for the sake of doing it. You need to focus on getting things done the right way at all times. Forget about your excuses like, “I was born lazy” or “I just don’t have the motivation to do it.” Or “I just do not have enough time.”
